    Sample Essay Answer

Doing physical activity or exercise is one of the main ways to stay healthy and be able to enjoy a well-rounded life. Exercise can benefit different aspects of life and most individuals believe that exercising is one of the few activities which has no harmful consequences. Personally, I believe exercise should be a core aspect of our lives.

Many studies have been done on the topic of exercise and how its positive effects can help the human body combat stress and everyday illnesses more effectively, slow the ravages of old age, and improve mood significantly. There are many claims that as little as thirty minutes of exercise a week can allow people to reap serious health gains. Moreover, individuals that are in better shape are also less prone to injuries; however, if they do suffer an injury, they typically suffer less and recover quicker from it. People that elevate their heart rate frequently through exercise enjoy a better quality of life and report fewer aches and pains in their old age. Finally, exercise can be aerobic or anaerobic, therefore, an individual can benefit from doing sports as much as they can by going to the gym.

On the other hand, people that do not follow a regular exercise routine or are not involved in physical work or activities tend to fall ill more frequently and usually spend more time in the hospital after an accident or disease. Their blood oxygenation is also lower when compared to those who exercise. Such individuals are also more prone to addictive vices such as alcohol and smoking.

Participating in sports or engaging in exercise, either at home or at a fitness center, can positively affect physical well-being and general fitness. Therefore, people that participate regularly in physical training or activities are largely healthier than people who do not. While daily or regular exercise may not be the only contributing factor to health, it certainly offers many tangible and proven health benefits.

    Discussion question

Are there any disadvantages of doing daily exercise?

While there are many advantages to doing daily exercise, there are also some disadvantages that should be considered.

One of the main disadvantages is that it can take up a lot of time. For people who have busy lifestyles, it can be difficult to find the time to fit in a workout.

Another disadvantage is that exercise can be expensive. If you want to join a gym or buy workout gear, it can start to add up.

Finally, exercise can be difficult and sometimes people give up because they don’t see results quickly enough.
