Living in Poverty and Being Rich - Compare and Contrast

Rich vs Poor Essay Answer

This is an interesting argument and a very long-running one. It is an argument that seems to gather much popular support, especially when economies suffer financial setbacks, as we have seen worldwide in recent years. Should the rich become poorer or the poor become richer? The financial inequality in society always seems to be blamed or at least brought to the front of discussions when we experience economic problems.

I don’t think there is any one social model which has been proven to work successfully and resulted in a society where more people are happy. We can see examples around the world of socialism and Marxism, which have produced great inequality between the ruling class, middle class and working class people. On the other hand, free-market capitalism has also produced inequality; however, it has also provided the means of more upward social mobility than many other societal models.

To simply state that if most poor people earned more or rich people earned less, then more people would be happy is to oversimplify the argument and most people consider that it would not automatically lead to more people being happy in society. A much better goal is to enable opportunities for more people to earn more. After all, wealth is not finite. There is no pot of money that has to be divided equally among all people. People are capable of creating new wealth that did not exist before. This new wealth creation is the key to making more people happy in society if money is the unit of measurement to measure happiness.

Enabling and empowering more and more people to create their own wealth and wealth for others would surely result in a better and more balanced society than simply redistributing what is already in existence.

How to write a paragraph about living in poverty and being rich | compare and contrast

Rich vs poor paragraph

When writing a compare and contrast paragraph, start by brainstorming the subjects you would like to discuss. Once you have decided on your topic, make a list of the similarities and differences between the two subjects. After that, you can begin drafting your paragraph, starting with an introduction that will grab the reader's attention. In the body of your paragraph, be sure to state both the similarities and differences between the subjects. Finally, conclude your paragraph with a strong conclusion that leaves the reader with something to think about.

When comparing living in poverty and being rich, there are several key points to consider. One significant difference is the amount of money a poor person and rich person has. Poor people focus on having enough money to meet their basic needs, such as food and shelter. On the other hand, people who are considered rich often have more than enough money to live comfortably and may even have some money left over to spend on material possessions and luxuries.

Another difference between these two groups is the way they live their lives. People living in poverty often have to worry about where their next meal will come from or how they will pay their rent. They may not have access to healthcare or education. On the other hand, people who are considered rich often have much less to worry about in terms of meeting their basic needs. They can afford to live in nice homes and send their children to good schools.

While there are certainly some differences between these two groups, we must remember that there is more that unites us than divides us. We are all human beings who deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. No one should have to live in poverty, and no one should have excessive wealth. We should all strive to create a world where everyone has enough to meet their basic needs and can live happy and fulfilling lives.

Example compare and contrast paragraphs: The Gap Between Rich and Poor

There is a huge gap between the rich and the poor in the world today. This gap is most evident in developing countries, where the majority of people live in poverty while a small minority enjoy great wealth.

The contrast between rich and poor is also evident in developed countries, though to a lesser extent. In the United States, for example, there are millions of people living in poverty, while a small number of individuals have extremely high incomes.

There are several reasons for the growing gap between rich and poor. One reason is globalization. As businesses become increasingly globalized, they often relocate to developing countries where labor is cheaper. This results in job losses in developed countries, as well as lower wages for workers who do keep their jobs.

Another reason for the growing gap between rich and poor is the increasing use of technology. Technology often replaces human jobs no matter if people work hard, leading to increased unemployment. Additionally, those who are employed often find that their jobs are less secure as a result of automation.

Finally, tax policies in many developed countries favor wealthy people, while those in poverty see little benefit. The rich people focus on money management and taking advantage of loopholes and deductions that minimize their tax liability, while the poor pay a larger percentage of their income in taxes. This contributes to the growing gap between rich and poor.

The growing gap between rich and poor has serious implications for societies. It can lead to social unrest and political instability. Additionally, it can create an environment ripe for crime and violence. The rich can buy their way out of these problems, while the poor are left to suffer.

The gap between rich and poor is a major prob\lem that needs to be addressed. It is important to find ways to close the gap so that everyone can benefit from the resources of our societies. Otherwise, the problems associated with poverty will continue to grow and have serious consequences for us all.
