How to Write a Letter: Sample Answer

Dear John and Sarah,

I hope everybody there is well and not affected by the bad weather. I'd just like to thank you both again for the opportunity you gave me to work on the project in Yokohama and the time you spent helping me. It was a fascinating 6 months for me, and I learned a lot, as well as making good friends with everyone else on the project team.

It’s good to be back home, but I still miss you all, and it's difficult adjusting to life here; things are so different. I start back at university next week, so I'll be busy with academic projects soon, but I’m looking forward to it and, hopefully, I’ll be able to use some of the knowledge I gained while I was working with you.

I know you would both like to visit my country, so I’d like to invite you over when the project is finished. Maybe we could spend some time together traveling around this part of the country which is very beautiful; I’m sure you’ll both love it.

I hope to hear from you soon.

Best regards,

Simon
