To function at my best, there are certain things I have to do every day. These are the things that help me feel grounded, focused, and productive. From the moment I wake up until the moment I go to bed, this is my daily routine.

I Wake Up Early

There’s nothing like starting the day with a few hours of peace and quiet. I wake up every day at 6am without fail, even on weekends. This gives me time to enjoy some ME time before the craziness of the day begins. I like to take this time to meditate, stretch, and just clear my head before getting ready for the day ahead.

I Eat a Healthy Breakfast

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and I definitely believe that to be true! That’s why I make sure to eat a healthy and filling breakfast every morning. This usually looks like eggs, toast, and avocado or oatmeal with berries and nuts. Not only does this give me sustained energy throughout the morning, but it also jumpstarts my metabolism and sets me up for success for the rest of the day.

I Get in a Workout

Exercise is so important for our physical and mental health—that’s why I make it a priority to get in a workout most days of the week. For me, working out first thing in the morning gets it out of the way and allows me to enjoy the rest of my day without feeling guilty about skipping a workout. Plus, it provides me with an extra boost of energy that helps me power through my day.

In the evening there are some things I always do to relax and unwind so that I can get a good night’s sleep.

I Eat a Light Evening Meal

Eating a big meal right before bed can lead to indigestion and make it difficult to fall asleep. I try to eat dinner a few hours before I go to bed, and if I’m hungry before bed, I’ll have a light snack like a piece of fruit or a few nuts.

Overall, A healthy daily routine is vital for overall well-being - that’s why I make sure to include specific things in mine every single day. Everyday Routine Essay

I wake up at 6:00 am and then take a quick shower. After that, I get dressed and go downstairs to have breakfast. Breakfast is usually a bowl of cereal or oatmeal. Then I brush my teeth and head out the door to go to school. I usually walk to school, but sometimes I take the bus. It depends on the weather. If it's raining, I take the bus.

When I get to school, I put my backpack in my locker and then head to my first class. I have six classes every day. First is math, then science, English, social studies, gym, and finally lunch. I usually have classes from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm.

Sometimes I stay after school for homework club or to work on a project with some friends. But usually, I just go home after school. I like to relax for a bit before starting my homework.

When I get home, I do my homework, and then take a break to watch some TV or talk with my friends. I like to watch a lot of different shows. My favorite show right now is The Walking Dead. It's about a group of people trying to survive after a zombie apocalypse.

I start getting ready for bed around 10:00 pm. I shower, brush my teeth, and put on my pajamas. Then I set my alarm for the next day. I try to go to bed around 10:00 pm, but sometimes I stay up later if really into what I'm reading or playing. It's not good for me to stay up too late, but it happens sometimes. I usually read for a bit before falling asleep.

And that’s my everyday routine essay! It’s a pretty simple daily routine, but it works for me.
