People continue to debate this controversial topic. Some people believe that children have too much freedom and are spoiled, while others think children need protection from the world until they are old enough to understand it properly. Both of these arguments have some merit, but ultimately there needs to be a balance between the two views. This essay explores what freedoms children need to become productive members of society and how their parents can help them develop into responsible adults without spoiling them or sheltering them from reality. Firstly, children need to learn to make their own decisions and experience the consequences of those choices. If they are not allowed any freedom, then how can they know what is right or wrong? It is only by experiencin
