IELTS General Training Writing Task 1 Answer

Dear Mr Mallory,

I am writing to express my thanks to you and your staff for the opportunity to work with you during the summer as part of my work experience for my undergraduate course. It was an amazing time, and I learned a great deal while working there.

Interstingly, I am now involved in a project at university and applying some of the techniques and knowledge I gained while I was with you. It has made a big difference to my understanding of this area, and I hope to continue to research it in more depth.

Hopefully, I will be graduating at the end of this academic year and would ask you to consider me for any entry-level vacancies your company may have the following year. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with your company and would be interested in working with you on a full-time basis.

Once again, thank you for the opportunity, it was extremely useful, and I look forward to hearing from you in the future.

Yours sincerely,

Tony D'Agostini
