The three pie charts show the respective amounts of sodium, saturated fat and added sugar found in the typical breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks eaten by Americans.
Overall, breakfast and lunch have a more balanced nutritional content in terms of the three nutrients than dinner and snacks, which are the unhealthiest.
Dinner contains the highest level of sodium and saturated fat, 43%, and 37%, respectively, while snacks account for the major source of added sugar (42%) consumed by Americans.
Breakfast is the healthiest meal eaten, as it has a relatively balanced, and low, content of sodium, saturated fat and added sugar, 14%, 14%, and 16%, respectively. In contrast, snacks have relatively high sodium and added sugar content, which makes them the least healthy option.
Sodium accounts for the largest percentage of the three nutrients in question, with dinner containing 14% more sodium than lunch, and 29% more than in breakfast and snacks.

Some people believe that it is best to accept a bad situation, such as an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money. Others argue that it is better to try and improve such situations.
Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

It is not uncommon for people to find themselves in stressful situations such as suffering from financial hardship or employment which is unsatisfying. While some people might simply resign themselves to such situations, others try and overcome their circumstances and move on to better things. This essay will discuss both approaches and provide a personal opinion on how to deal with such challenges.
While the situations in question are typically fraught with difficulty, and often accompanied by stress and frustration, it is a natural instinct for some people to rise to the challenge and look for ways to remedy the situation or at least improve things to a level which is more acceptable. There are people who believe that any problem has a solution; it is simply a case of finding and implementing the solution. For example, if financially challenged, people might try cutting back in their monthly expenditure first and saving more each month to improve the situation. If stuck in a dead-end job, or one which is stressful or unsatisfying, having a conversation with the boss might lead to small changes being made which help improve things. Failing this, a looking for a better paying job or a more engaging and fulfilling job might help eliminate the problem.
However, not all, people are proactive in trying to solve their own problems, and many simply accept such situations as their fate; something outwith their control to change. They might lack the confidence or even ability to make any significant changes to improve their circumstances and eventually resign themselves to putting up with things as they are. An aversion to change or risk of new things might also prevent them from being proactive in trying to improve the situation they are unhappy with.
Overall, the way in which people might react to such situations is as diverse as people’s personalities are, and there are more options than simply accepting or rejecting the current state of affairs. Personally, I feel that people should always strive to make the best of any given situation, whether that involves making minor improvements to make a situation more bearable or taking more drastic action and trying new things altogether; it is in everyone’s best interest to make the best of any situation they find themselves in.

The bar chart and table provide data concerning the value of exports from a country for 2015-2016. The five categories of exports were petroleum products, textiles, agricultural products, gems and jewellery, and engineered goods.
In terms of monetary value, for the period in question, the largest export category was petroleum products, with a value of more than $60 billion, followed by engineered goods at around $57 billion. Gems and jewellery accounted for about $40 billion, agricultural products for approximately $30 billion, and textiles generated the least amount of export income at about $25 billion.
Textiles experienced the biggest change in export earnings between 2015 and 2016, increasing by 15.24%. The export of agricultural products registered the smallest increase in income, by only 0.81%. Interestingly, the earnings from exported gems and jewellery decreased slightly during this period, contrary to the overall trend in the other categories.
Overall, the country experienced a 22.37% increase in its export revenue, despite the slight drop in the value of exported gems and jewellery.

There is no doubt that the loss of biodiversity is a major environmental problem. The extinction of species can have a devastating impact on ecosystems and the services they provide to humans. For example, the loss of a keystone species can lead to the collapse of an entire ecosystem. However, other environmental problems are arguably more important.
Climate change is one of the most pressing issues facing our planet. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has predicted that climate change will cause widespread famine, displacement of people, and increases in disease. In addition, it is estimated that climate change could cost the global economy trillions of dollars in damages.
So, while the loss of biodiversity is a serious environmental problem, other issues are arguably more pressing and require more immediate solutions. Our environment is continually evolving and we must adapt our management practices to protect the planet and its inhabitants.
For example, we have decreased our reliance on fossil fuels, improved our recycling and waste management practices, and protected areas of natural beauty. In addition, to reduce our impact on the environment, we are in the process of switching to renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power, increasing our use of public transport and carpooling, supporting environmentally friendly businesses, and educating others about the importance of taking care of the environment.
Changes in our environment are one of the greatest challenges facing humanity today. We must act now to mitigate its effects and adapt to the changes that are already underway. By working together, we can protect our planet for future generations.
